How to Cancel UPI AutoPay Mandate: PhonePe, GPay, Paytm
Cancel any UPI AutoPay mandate in PhonePe, Google Pay, Paytm or your bank app, or from NPCI's UPI Help portal. Step by step, with Hindi instructions.

If the mandate keeps debiting
If the mandate keeps retrying after revocation — rare but possible — contact your bank and quote the UMN (Unique Mandate Number) shown in the mandate detail screen. NPCI logs revocations, so banks can force-block persistent merchants.
Remember: cancelling the mandate stops payments, not the service. Also cancel inside the merchant's app, and ask the merchant directly about any refund.

Frequently asked questions
Can a merchant charge me after I revoke a UPI AutoPay mandate?
No. Once revoked, the mandate is dead in NPCI's system and no debit will succeed. If a merchant retries anyway, the transaction fails and you can escalate via your bank.
Can I cancel UPI AutoPay without the app I set it up in?
Yes. NPCI's UPI Help portal (upihelp.npci.org.in) shows mandates across UPI apps and lets you pause or revoke them, authorised with your UPI PIN.
