How to Cancel AutoPay in Paytm (Step-by-Step, 2026)

Paytm lists every UPI AutoPay you have approved in the app, so you can cancel a recurring payment, pause it, or check how much it can debit. Here's how.
Quick answer: open Paytm → Balance & History → Automatic Payments → select the mandate → tap Cancel → confirm with your UPI PIN. Future debits stop; payments already made are not refunded automatically.
How to cancel AutoPay in Paytm
1. Open the Paytm app and log in.
2. Go to Balance & History (on the home screen or under your profile).
3. Tap Automatic Payments. In some versions this appears as UPI AutoPay or Mandates.
4. Select the mandate you want to stop.
5. Tap Cancel (some versions say Delete Mandate).
6. Confirm with your UPI PIN. You should get a confirmation in the app and usually an SMS from your bank.
How to pause AutoPay in Paytm
Open the same mandate and tap Pause, then choose when it should resume. No debits happen while it is paused.
Mandate not showing in Paytm?
It was approved in another app. A mandate lives in the UPI app you approved it in — check PhonePe, Google Pay or your bank's app, or find all your active mandates on NPCI's UPI Help portal (upihelp.npci.org.in).
It's a loan EMI or similar mandate. Some mandates can only be cancelled through the lender or merchant.
Update the app. Menu names change between versions; if you can't find Automatic Payments, contact Paytm support from the Help section.
What happens after you cancel
