How to Cancel ChatGPT Plus (India, 2026)
Cancel your ChatGPT Plus, Pro, or Team subscription in under a minute — and how to avoid the FX charge next time.
Open chat.openai.com → profile → My Plan → Manage my subscription → Cancel plan → confirm. Access continues to the end of the billing cycle.
ChatGPT Plus is billed in USD ($20/mo) — Indian users pay ~₹1,700 plus a 3.5% FX markup depending on the card. Using a card with 0% forex markup saves ₹50–₹60 per month.
If you're switching between Plus, Pro, and Team, cancel the old plan explicitly before subscribing to the new one — OpenAI does not auto-migrate.
