JioHotstar Plans 2026: Prices, Features & Sports Coverage
The merged JioHotstar platform's plan structure, cricket streaming coverage, and which tier makes sense for you.
JioHotstar — the merged Reliance-Disney streaming platform — is now India's largest OTT by paid subscribers. Plans include Mobile, Super, and Premium tiers, with sports-only add-ons available around IPL and ICC events.
Mobile — 720p, one stream, ads. Cheapest way to watch IPL on a phone.
Super — 1080p, two streams, minimal ads. The default plan for most households.
Premium — 4K HDR, four streams, Dolby Atmos on select titles. Worth it only for 4K TV owners.
Cricket note: JioHotstar retains IPL digital rights through 2027 and streams ICC events, so anyone who follows cricket has to have at least the Mobile tier during a tournament window.
Frequently asked questions
Is IPL free on JioHotstar?
IPL matches are free on the Jio ecosystem for many Jio SIM users during the tournament window, but a paid JioHotstar plan is needed to watch outside that window and to access 1080p / 4K streams.
